The National Allergy Council has released its Annual Impact Report, showcasing our key program outcomes. We have had our busiest year to date, continuing to undertake consultations and implement programs to help improve the lives of the 8.2 million Australians living with allergic disease.
We work closely with ASCIA and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia, our partner organisations, to ensure we provide consistent evidence-based resources. We have also collaborated with the National Allergy Centre of Excellence to translate research findings into effective programs.
Key highlights for this past year include:
75.5 million people reached globally through media, social media and online content.
85,121 people trained with life-saving food allergen management training.
13,000 people access the Nip allergies in the Bub website on average each month.
