Allergy 250K websites

The Allergy 250K website landing page provides access to the Allergy 250K school aged kids website as well as the Allergy 250K young adult website.  The Allergy 250K websites are designed to help young people to feel more connected with other school aged kids and young adults, going through similar experiences. These websites have been developed for them, by them, as we consulted with young people through surveys, interviews and focus groups.

Allergy 250K school-aged kids

The Allergy 250K school-aged kids website has a strong focus on supporting young people and allowing them to share information with their friends in fun ways, such as using avatars.

The website also allows young people to share their thoughts on a range of topics anonymously. The website is also supported by a slide set that schools can access to help increase awareness about severe allergies.

Allergy 250K young adult

The Allergy 250K young adult website was specifically developed for older teens and young adults with imagery employed to appeal to this age group.

This website includes a range of topics not included in the school-aged teen website that are relevant to this age group with the look and feel that reflects the more mature young person.

Work in progress

  • Ongoing updates of the Allergy 250K website content.

  • Engaging with our target audience via focus groups to gain additional insights into how we can best support young people living with severe allergies.
