Shared Care for Allergy Bulletin March 2023 - Edition 2

Thank you for subscribing to the Shared Care for Allergy Bulletin. This will be a regular newsletter from the National Allergy Council to let people know what is happening with the Shared Care for Allergy project

Our goal is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians living with allergies by making it easier for people to access the best care. The Australian Government Department of Health has funded the National Allergy Council to progress this important work.

Register to attend a Shared Care for Allergy engagement session

We are holding face-to-face sessions across Australia to bring people together to talk about how to improve access to allergy care, especially for people living in rural and remote areas.

During May and June 2023, we are visiting different cities and regions so we can talk to, and hear ideas from, the local community including:

  • people living with an allergy or caring for someone with an allergy

  • public hospital and health service staff

  • healthcare professionals working in private practice

  • primary health networks

  • governments, health administrators, and

  • other interested people or groups.

The topic of the sessions will be:

How do we improve access to quality care for people with allergic disease?

The dates and places where these sessions will be held are included below.
